This collection was my take on the traditional Christmas Baubles.

As the first Christmas after my diploma approached, I decided to create a small product, building on some of my previous work. I had created a basket weave gamp (a sample with little sample squares within to see how different colour combinations work together) in my final year project. This weave trial had given rise to lots of interesting yet delicate striped fabrics. I felt these reminded me of the stripes often found on baubles or Easter eggs and wondered if I could develop some stylish festive decorations from the areas in the sample that had worked best.
These featured in a number of local galleries:
The Found Gallery, Dunbar Norden, North Berwick The Flat Cat Gallery, Lauder Buy Design Gallery, Harestanes, Ancrum
